Working closely with the Superintendent, you'll help lead daily operations, guide crew members, and ensure the courses are consistently presented at the highest level. What You'll Do • Maintain the Warren Golf Course and the ND Golf Course in the best possible playing condition by assisting and carrying out the duties assigned by the golf course Superintendent and 1st Assistant. Various duties include the following: aerifying, course setup/cutting cups, fertilizing, mowing, spraying, and general golf course maintenance, etc. • Course Setup/Cutting Cups including tee marker placement, pin hole placement selection, pin location gps entry and range tee management. • Crew management/leadership - in regards to; mowing routes, bunker maintenance, landscape maintenance and cleaning of equipment. • Mowing - greens, tees, fairways and rough with special attention paid to the need for line triming around the trees and bunkers. • Irrigation system operation and repair/maintenance including head replacement, solenoid replacement, satelite box troubleshooting. • Off Season Tasks: painting course supplies, tree removal, course projects/construction • Fertilizing - greens, tees, fairways, roughs with special attention paid to foliar fertilizer management. • Spraying- including greens, tees, fairways, along with chemical management of our native areas. • General Maintenance, including landscape beds around the clubhouse, the golf team facility and the maintenance facility. Job Summary The Superintendent is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and management of a golf course. This role serves as a liaison between the company, the customer representative, and the golf shop on matters related to daily course operations. The Superintendent is easily contacted and remains in contact with the key employees on the golf course at all times.
