Field Source Columbus, Ohio Area Field Source is growing, and we’re looking for a Sports Field Maintenance Technician who takes pride in doing things the right way. This role is for someone who likes working outdoors, likes seeing the results of their work, and wants to be part of building and maintaining sports fields that communities actually use. You’ll be involved in both renovation and maintenance, helping us deliver athletic facilities that are safe, functional, and built to perform. At Field Source, we work with schools, parks, universities, and sports organizations to improve the places where people play. We care about quality, details, and long-term success — not just getting a job done and moving on. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting sports field renovation and maintenance projects Assisting with natural grass field maintenance and site work Operating equipment and tools used in field renovation and upkeep Performing cultural practices on sports fields and turfgrass areas Performing inspection, testing, and condition assessment on natural grass and synthetic turf surfaces Helping with tasks like mowing, field painting, sod and seed establishment, grading support, irrigation-related work, drainage work, grooming, cleanup, and general facility upkeep Working on job sites and sports facilities throughout the region Helping our team deliver projects and maintenance services the right way the first time Schedule Primarily Monday through Friday 40-55 hours per week 3–6 Saturdays per year during peak season All other weekends off Why Field Source We are not just looking for someone to fill a spot.
